District Athletics

On Monday 8th July, Brill School took a team of KS2 children to represent the school at the District Athletics Competition at Stoke Mandeville Stadium. We had athletes taking part in field and track events throughout the evening and we were up against some tough opponents. We had some amazing individual and group results and I am delighted to announce we came in 2nd place, with a difference of only 8 points separating 1st and 2nd place. Not only was I so impressed by the talent and determination of our children in all their events, I was unbelievably proud of the sportsmanship, and behaviour towards other athletes, that they showed. The Brill support team of teachers were out in full force, along with dedicated parents, so thank you all for attending. You only need to see the happy faces on our athletes to understand what a brilliant night we had! A true highlight of the sporting year.
