Echoes concert at the Royal Albert hall

A group of Year 4 pupils spent the day the the Royal Albert hall and performed songs that they have been practicing in their music lessons. This concert brought together 1600 singers from 62 primary schools across Buckinghamshire, performing two separate halves of inspiring and beautiful vocal music, accompanied by the Bucks Music Trust Orchestra. The first half is titled Seascapes and is directed by Fay Hayhurst, featuring a selection of songs, with orchestration by Andrew Melvin. The second half is Constellations, a world premiere of a newly commissioned work composed by Cameron Sinclair, who will also direct the performance. This was an extraordinary experience that our children will never forget! A huge thank you to Miss Marriott, Miss Nash, Mrs Green and Mrs Greene for attending with the children. We are incredibly proud of how all the children represented the school.
